Reverie Channel: Act Zero
Disclaimer:
It's nothing major, but for a nicer play experience with better menus, no need for an internet connection and a more optimized game, I recommend downloading the game (feel free to try the game out through the browser and then download if you like).
What is it?
Reverie Channel: Act Zero, is the side story to Reverie Channel. However, it does not take place in the same continuity as the original (the one that I made for the NanoReno Game Jam). Which means that it isn't necessary to play the original game before this one.
Cogito, having awoken in a new area with no recollection of how he got there, must find Volo, his (literal) other half. Along the way, he will meet all sorts of weird characters, he might even find some people who can relate to his situation. Act Zero's gameplay involves a mix of point and click gameplay along with the style of a visual novel, so it's a very relaxed/go at your own pace type of game.
There is only one ending but there are two optional paths that add some clarity (or pizazz) to Cogito's experience .
What does it have?
The game has:
- An ambient and chiptune based soundtrack.
- One annoyed deuteragonist turned protagonist (Cogito).
- A gameshow!
- And... a cowboy?
While the game doesn't try to be overtly horror related, it might have some elements that may be disturbing to some.
- Gore (particularly in some of the character designs)
- Unsettling imagery
Controls:
These are configurable so they may not apply to everyone.
Left Click/Z - Select
Right Click/X/Esc - Open/Close menu
Shift - Brings up the text backlog during dialog. (Don't hold it for to long though. It might flash.)
Control - Fast forwards text.
F2 - Framerate.
F3 - Locks the screen to it's native resolution, even in fullscreen.
F4 - Enables fullscreen.
F5 - Resets the game executable or refreshes the page.

Nice game frankness .. But it seems that it needs some modification .... Deserves all the support
Thanks for playing! What were your issues with the game? I can try to make an update in the near future.
Is passing through the walls something intentional or not? eddie no q you should work on fixing it ... My mother the music you may need a music designer or ask one of your loyal friends This will make the game more cooperative and lively... Try quiet music to get into the atmosphere of the colorless game... And I appreciate your efforts. a lot, legend
Thanks for your feedback. Passing through walls should only happen in the areas with the cursor (the circle that you can control), it shouldn't happen with the top down areas where you control Cogito.
I'll do my best to see if I can find that issue if it happens in the top down sections.
I wish you luck
